antique imporium rose: obviously mike doesn't work at walmart. wonder which rose nursery he's affliatedwith that's getting hurt by the super centers. i try not to be prejudiced against or for any seller. i want a decent product at a fair price. often i get this from online sources such as chamblees or antique rose imporium and local nurserys but i'm not opposed to purchasing anything from any source if i want. as to walmart's return policy, it's far better than any nursery or online retailer i've dealt with. they will give a replacement or refund with no questions. hamp
antique imporium rose: since i live in zone 7/8 i can't guarantee what i'm about to say but--- mark chamblee of chamblee roses gave a presentation in jackson, ms recently and the questionof cold hardiness was asked of him by an individual from iowa. mark recommended any "dr. griffith buck rose for cold hardiness. the chamblee rose catalog has a list of cold hardy and griffith buck roses. chamblee as well as other sites (antique rose imporium) have reference charts which give details of performance and characteristics of these roses. hope this helps. hamp

antique imporium rose: amagine being in a major car accident in your antique automobile. not a vw but thoes huge metal ones with all the curves i think they might be a 40's ford or chevrolet. the worst part is you couldn't avoid that accident because the car you are driving didn't have sufficient brakes for modern driving imporium rose conditions... and not only that but you have no seatbelt! the amount of money you put into your antique is now irrelevant because you and your family have all died the day you took your dinasour age ford to the freeway and totalled it. a car designed when safety wassn't an issue... :-( just awfull
