antique ring: i have an antique ring which i believe to be a georgian flower ring it has 15 little diamonds in a raised flower setting no hall marks but stamped inside is 18ct if anyone knows about such things i would appreciate an opinion thanks bren
antique ring: a friend has an old (antique?) silver ring that she bought in toledo, spain. it looks like a pair of clasped hands with arms engraved with crescent moons and stars, but the hands unclasp, and an outer ring opens, revealing an inner ring that has at the top a very small box with a hinged lid. (by very small, i mean about an eighth of an inch, or half a centimeter, on a side.) the inner ring has embossed on it in hebrew "mazel" on one side of the box and "tov" on the other.
antique ring: well , well , well let me tell you about my customer from the heavens ! a nice , warm , and classy young man to whom i had sold a bracelet last year, came to my store in mid-june and looked at some antique engagement rings.he had told me before that the bracelet was for a very famous young lady and soon he hoped to get a ring from me.to make a long story short i altered the antique ring that he liked to his specifications( engraved inside the ring , mounted the stone of his choice,...) and he loved it. he said not to say any thing to anyone till july 4th 2002.he promised me a picture of her wearing the ring along with her autograph.
