antique stove: i recently purchased an antique stove and it needs some interior restoration. does anyone know of any place that does restoration? preferably in and or around the philadelphia vicinity. i appreciate any leads anyone can give me. thanks
antique stove: i would hate to call a garden variety antiques dealer, who knows furniture and such, but not much else... and have him tell me it's just an old stove, if someone in the know would be able to determine if we can get several hundred bucks for it.
antique stove: i have an antique bridgeford & co (louiville ky) stove, model no 14-orient 1888 (coal burning?) that has been in our house for quite some time and which i am looking to have appraised and then sell. its in pretty good shape. i'm on the east coast in the nyc area. please contact with thoughts and comments.
antique stove: can anyone recommend a local dealer that sells antique stoves (o'keefe and merritt, wedgewood, etc.)? i've heard that there are some dealers and repair shops in san francisco, but they're deceptively hard to find. also, if anyone has a stove to sell i'd appreciate hearing about it. i'm looking for a 36-40" chrome top stove that's in very good or restored condition.
