basket craft easter: yes! i actually built one of these digital pinhole cameras. i purchased all the light-gathering diodes from both the local frye's as well as on line. the rest of them i scrounged from the local radio shacks (also my source for the numerous op-amps, thyristors, nand gates, and transistors (to name a few). i found red, green, and blue cellophane at the local craft store (well, actually i got the green from an old easter basket i found out in the garage) to cut up and paste down as filters. turns out the diode array, in order to get any kind of resolution, needed to be 6 x 6 feet in size - just right for the used ups truck which i was able to procure for the camera body (i found the "toque.net" shoebox to be woefully small). for obvious reasons, i wasn't able the black out the windshield with photo black tape until i drove the truck to the site i had selected to photograph: lake tahoe, where i did tape the windshield, pricked it with the requisite pin, and took this excellent shot of the island in the lake (following the directions on the "toque.net" site):
basket craft easter: fun shirt basket..... fill a 5 gallon plastic bucket (you can get these at home depot with lid for about $5) with a tye dye kit. include a plain white cotton undershirt t for each member (get large and the kids can use them as sleep shirts), a few bottles of rit liquid dye, rubber bands, rubber gloves. include directions for tye dying. www.familyfun.com or easter www.makingfriends.com you could also include fabric paints and fancy craft sponges.
basket craft easter: scrap book basket...... fill a large gift bag with a cheap photo album or scrap book and inexpensive disposible camera (wal-mart) per child or person. (if this easter is too expensive just include one for the entire family) from the local craft store add scissors with fancy cut edges, a few fancy hole punches, easter stickers, and some scrap book paper. should be lots of family fun and memories.
basket craft easter: anyone out there interested in getting into the gift basket business? i have easter many items (any occasion) for sale. these can be grouped together by subject (baby, wedding, christmas, etc..) or color coordinated items (kitchen, bath, easter etc...). this would be the perfect time to maybe join some of the fall craft shows. i also have many items for the garden (yard stakes). i recently quit doing gift baskets and currently have a lot of inventory left over. i also have the baskets, trays, ribbon, and shrink wrap bags. i'm trying to clear out my craft building in hopes of having an art studio soon. please e-mail if interested.
basket craft easter: find the lowest-cost launcher which can be man-rated to our aggreed-upon safety standards, and also the lowest-cost cargo launcher. by easter "launcher" i mean "company that provides launch services." contract for a good-sized block of launches from each. also contract for a smaller number of launches from whoever comes in as #2, both to help support the industry, and also to avoid having all our eggs in one basket. use these launches to loft the spacecraft, probably in several launches each easter and assembled on orbit, and then the crew. crew goes to moon.
