mexican rustic furniture: i am wanting to learn this lost art of furniture making. i have access to an unlimited supply of oak boards (4-8" width) and an intrest in santa fe, mission, and rustic mexican style. i have searched the local colleges for woodworking classes and there is none to be found. i dont want to waste my money and time going through magazines and buying useless equipment. i want to do it right the first time.. does anyone know of someone in the east texas area that builds furniture or teaches furniture and cabinet making. please put me on the right track
mexican rustic furniture: you could make it a mexican themed room. furniture of rustic pine, accessories of black wrought iron, or just painted black. add splashes of turquoise, vibrant pink or deep rose, yellow. a serape or mexican/indian rug or two. some brilliant flowers and terracotta pots.
mexican rustic furniture: i recently replaced my mexican rustic dining table and 4 chairs - it's been in my garage for a month now - so i'm looking to find it a new home. it's about 56" long and 34" wide - not really big - just right for a kitchen. it has two small drawers with rustic metal hardware. furniture the 4 chairs are the standard ladder-back,flat bottom chairs that match.
